    Is it worth buying a Vermont Castings Defiant Encore 2250 that needs it's upper fire back replaced?

    We really need a woodstove that is shorter than 29'' tall for our space. Preferably under 25''. I came across a really nice blue defiant encore 2250 from the 90's. It's 26.5'' tall.     Conversion Kit for Wonderfire/Vermont Cast Stove

    Need a conversion kit for my Wonderfire/Vermont Castings Stove Model 2470, Serial # 1517. This is to convert from propane to natural gas. Bought stove and appears in excellent condition. Conversion Kit is obselete. I have contacted 3 parts websites. I have manual. Suggestions???
