I reckon some of these might provoke a chuckle... or maybe just a quiet roll of the eyes. They're kind of an interesting example of what the creative mind can get up to when it is freed of the need to do anything useful, such as keeping the family warm. (Guess it helps that many of these don't burn wood, either.)

Not my cup of tea, though I'm glad there are always folks pushing the limits of what can be done... otherwise we'd have never had either the Franklin nor the airtight stove, arguably THE two big advances in wood burning in the last 250 years.
