I just picked up a great deal ($200) on what appears to be a very good condition 1984 Lopi LX. I downloaded the manual for this stove but it doesn’t have a house sq ft size it’s recommended for. I’m interested to know what this stove is capable of? It’s got the optional dual blower and the fire box is rather large (22” x 26”). My house is a 2 story 1,650 sq/ft. and temperatures range from 15-45 degrees in the winter months.

Thanks for any info. I attached some pictures.

It's a big stove that should easily heat the house. The main thing will be to hook it up safely to a proper liner and to burn fully seasoned wood.

Of course safety is my biggest concern. I do metal fab work so Im planning to make a mount for the top to allow an 8” pipe to be attached. My thought was to run a single wall stainless solid if possible, flex liner if a straight shot isn’t possible.
