2011 New Englander pdv25 looses power completely

I’ve been running it for 5 years now with a few problems BUT, I couldn’t figure those out. It’s happened twice now in the last five start-ups…..The unit goes through “SU” then completely shuts down like I unplugged it. Obviously No codes displayed because the unit is “OFF”. So I hit the “ON” button and it starts back up , “SU” phase starts again, and it runs perfect with no problems. I’m thinking a control board since they can’t diagnose themselves…anyone know ?

If it were me, I'd check all of the easy stuff first. Is the outlet in good condition? They do get weak and make intermittent connection over time. Looking at the board (after it is unplugged) are your connections good from the outlet? Do you have any broken wires? The last thing I would think to check (working off of memory here) is the transformer, but you would need to have the stove plugged in and possibly turned on. Be careful as there will be line voltage present.

After checking outlet, plug and wire to stove as stated above. Check to see if black, white and ground are secured on the board. Also check 6 amp fuse and the fuse holder, the fuse holder can become stretched over time and not be holding fuse tight enough. After that I would "jump" the vacuum switch that is attached to the exhaust blower . Unplug stove remove wires from the vacuum switch attach these two wires together with paper clip or jumper wire apply tape, make sure bare wires do not touch body of stove plug back in and try to start. Of course this is going to be a hard problem to find as it does not happen every time you start.

While your in there also check the silicone hose for cracks or melted hose. Check the metal nipple were the hose connects to the exhaust blower housing to see if it is plugged.

I went through everything that was mentioned above and found nothing obvious. The vent tube to the switch from the blower was ok. The switch functions properly

How do you know this?

Did you jump the switch and try to start stove?

Venting thoroughly clean including the exhaust housing?
