I have a 25PDVC -SPH10 Manufactured 10/2000. went to start it like always while it it was warming up a couple of minutes heat and blower lights went out as normal and about 30 seconds later came back on and heat went up to 9 by itself, turned it off to reset the board let it cool down for 3 hours went to reset the board somehow was on B had a hard time getting it to D. Lit the stove did the same thing had a hard time getting it down kept going to other heat settings on it's own. Anybody know if the board is shot or is it a motor problem auger or combustion shorted somewhere.

Yes it sounds like the prom has been affected with a voltage spike or brown out, could be some solder wiskers. If you can pull your board and look at the traces and see if there is any corrosion aroud the pins of the prom. If there is you could use an old toothbrush and give it a good cleaning and see if that helps.

Thank you, it's a used stove I bought 3 years ago probably original board will try that and see if it gets the gremlins out, kind of figured a board problem. Thanks again
