Well, it happens to the best of us, I'm behind on wood and won't be fully stocked this winter we are sitting at 3 full IBC totes of good elm and oak plus the porch rack for a total of around 1.25 cords. House is around 1000 sq foot and very well insulated. I'm looking to maximize what I have and use it in conjunction with my other heating options (minisplit and hydronic in floor heat) without spending a ton on propane to run my floors or using my mini splits out of their effective range. Current plan is this.

Daily low greater than 20 F- mini splits
Daily low 0-20 F- In floor heat set to 65 and one small burn in the morning, potentially setting thermostat for floor closer to 60 for the evenings.
Artic blasts- In floor heat set to 65 and a full burn in the mornings.

I know its not perfect, and I know im going to run out. But want to maximize the wood I have.
