3am reload, lol. I can’t put too much wood in there or I’ll cook myself out of the place! It’s an annoyance of sizing a stove so I can walk in to the place at 0F and get heat in a reasonable amount of time.

Nice. I’ve burned some small pieces of pine the last couple nights in CT. Had to open a window overnight. Shoulder season blues

This is still electron burning weather for us. We're inching down to cooler weather, but still are just flirting with low 50s at night. Looks like we will drop into the 40s on Tuesday night.

Supposed to be mid 30s tonight too. The cabin is warmer though. I still have banked coals from last night in the stove. It’s still warm to the touch. I don’t think I’ll be lighting it off. I’ll burn some electrons rather than cook myself out of here!

Sounds like you have it dialed in nicely. That Super/T5 firebox is excellent for holding a long fire at low heat.

Eh, it’s just luck that the ash fell on top of the coals, lol.

It’s been an awesome stove though. The only thing I’ve noticed that I don’t like is the flue collar isn’t welded on. I’m sure it’s removable for a reason, but a little bead would seal it forever. I would rather it be sealed. It’s not a big deal and I probably wouldn’t care if at one time I didn’t have a leak at the chimney and water pooled on the top of the stove. I’ll always wonder if rust formed between the 2 pieces.

And so it begins.

Yet, again ;)
