44 Elite Fire brick liner -is there another option?

After more looking and reading, my husband and I are (almost) sold on the 44 Elite. Like the posi-pressure system, like the looks and size and efficiency. The one thing we aren't so keen on is the interior of the firebox. It looks unfinished to me with the fire bricks held in place with the metal braces and just one row of them so the top is exposed metal.

Does anyone know if the manufacturer offers a different interior -a prefab liner or something? Or do you think we could have a mason line the entire interior with firebricks? Would welcome any ideas you may have.

I would be reluctant to change the original factory configuration in any manner.

Look for Skamolex cut to fit relining panels. I did that on my Quad 7100 and it looks much better than firebrick. They may be hard to find.

Once you see that beautiful fire, you won't think anything about the bricks. I promise!
