installer today quoted me for a defient installed with 6" double wall pipe. he said that because im not planning on running with the doors open i dont need the triple wall pipe which is fine with me just making sure hes right?
Double wall and triple wall pipe both have the same inside diameter so I don't see why it would matter if the doors were open or closed. Maybe I am just confused.
I think it could be that the defiant has an 8" flue exit. You can bring it down to 6" (which is less expensive than 8" pipe), but they don't recommend operating the stove with doors open and the screen in.
