Hi everyone, I need your expertise. I'm trying to connect a double wall DVL 6" pipe to an adapter that goes out to the triple wall stainless steel pipe outside.

I have tried using multiple adapters but it doesn't seem to work.

Can I go directly from the DVL double wall pipe into the single wall adapter? It seems tight but I wouldn't be able to put screws it in. It's odd because I cannot find an adapter that will work!

Feel free to laugh at me. I've tried the Duravent 6DVL-ADT adapter but it doesn't have an end that turns and locks into the triple wall pipe. Thanks for your help!

It's a good question. Here is what the DuraPlus manual says:

thanks in my 2nd picture is part #8674 6DVL-ADT but there is not a way for that adapter to lock into the triple wall stainless steel pipe going outside.

Yes, DuraPlus is a problem that way. I'd be tempted to drill 3 holes in the face of the adapter (120º apart) and screw into the end of the DuraPlus. Or use the single-wall adapter that does lock into the DuraPlus and screw the DVL to that adapter, drilling pilot holes first.
