Boy the learning curve is sharp for the first year. I have learned so much from trial and error and from Hearth.com this year that it makes me wonder what else I don't know yet.
At first I couldn't keep my glass clean... Mastered that.
Next I kept over-firing my stove way past 850 on reloads... Mastered that.
Them I kept smelling smoke in the house.... Learned to go outside to see which way the smoke was blowing before opening a window to manage my interior temps.
Just think how smart I'll be in 5 or 10 year
Thanks to all who have taken the time to help bring me up to speed on Hearth.com
