ABB, a major world player in PV inverters, has announced a high voltage residential storage system, somewhat like the Tesla Powerwall, with modular expansion up to 12kW, and which can be installed on the AC or the DC side of a PV system. Storage remains relatively expensive, but the market continue to evolve towards practical and economical residential options.
