Instructions show to screw the DVL stove adapter to the A collar of the stove, however there are no screw holes in the adapter or the porcelain coated cast A collar on the stove. ? is drill through the lower exposed A collar and catch the crimped pipe inside or move up higher on the adapter and go through outer stove pipe wall, porcelain/cast and crimp and not crush in with screws.
OR not needed if all other sections above are screwed on a straight up system.
I have drilled cast before but how does the porcelain coating react to a drill bit ?
Thanks, Todd![[Hearth.com] ? about DVL stove pipe adapter [Hearth.com] ? about DVL stove pipe adapter](https://www.hearth.com/talk/data/attachments/111/111695-0bc6844b15b00c8c314a8f6c27d485c5.jpg?hash=DaEtI_6HGQ)
