AC-30 Blower VS. Ac-16 Blower - Englander 30 NC

Anyone have some input on the AC-30 fan for a Englander 30 NC, It came with the AC-16 but it seems a little loud?

Someone must know if the 30 is quieter than the 16 ???

i got the stove last year and the next week i got the ac30 blower it was alot quieter then the 16

I read something in another post about lubricating the fan once a year. Anybody have any recollection of that?

I run the AC16 fan on my 30 and haven't oiled anything. Am I in trouble? (Don't make me go find my manual)

I just looked at mine and there isn't any place to lube the AC-16.

Yeah, it's one of the few things I don't believe from the BK crowd.

Since that megabucks big blower for my 30 crapped out the first year, and not wanting to pull up the liner and haul the stove out of the fireplace, I use a AC-16 sitting in the edge of the front of the fireplace blowing into it. Not as loud as the the big blower was or the one on my old insert. And tosses a butt load of air out of that fireplace on low speed.

Think maybe I got ya beat. Paid freight to have a 30 shipped 1,400 miles only to then drive 300 miles round trip to the plant to swap it out because of a defect.

Having the 30 delivers to my front door was frickin' awesome. I felt like I was cheating.

Yeah. LIke when I bought the second one. I went down to the end of the 900 foot driveway/rough road and had the guys put it in the trailer and brought it up myself and tipped them. $650 to the end of the driveway was enough for me.

Half of what the one burning in the family room cost me.
