adjustable offset adapter

where can I find an adjustable offset adapter for a 6" pipe that adjusts up to 8" or 9"?? I can find them up to 6" but I need more than that top clear the large header plate in my fire place. I am installing a fire place insert with a SS liner but can get them connected without that much of an offset. I can't use elbows because of over head clearance issues.
