I have the same stove and same set up and have no major issues. I do have some noise but thats the side panels expanding. If you give the panel a little tap dead centre it goes away.

I have a Pacific Energy PS45.
it is almost the same as theTN40. Same manufacturer. It doesn’t feed consistently.
