Hey eric and guys!

I am going to go to AHS manufacturing and sale facility soon to look at the multi fuel boiler. They will do a test burn for me. I have asked the sales associate a lot of questions about the unit. The boiler has a lot of fire brick. They offer a bitonumious coal package. The lower part and side walls (1 coarse high) are lined with firebrick. There is a metal baffel plate that is lined with firebrick as well. There is a set of water tubes that help retain the heat from the fire.

I am going to put this unit in my workshop. I want to heat my workshop, garage, and house. I am torn between this unit (multi fuel wc-70 boiler) and the Royall 6250. What is your take on this Eric and anybody else. Please keep in mind that I am going to burn both wood and coal in this unit. Coal here goes for $40 a ton.

The AHS will burn wood a lot cleaner and more efficiently than the Royall. I'm not sure about coal. (The last time I bought coal, about 3 years ago, it was $160/ton!).

AHS makes a nice wood gasifier. Royall makes really long-lasting boilers, but old tech.

Let us know what you think of the test burn. If you don't mind, try to find out if they know about the Boiler Room.
