Hi Marty, glad to see you in here. Running out is certainly understandable and I wasn't trying to say it was a bad thing. The fact that you keep resupplying and post about the shipments are great. Thanks for posting your updated pricing for the coming year as well. Looks like it's up about $20 from last year, guess that's the trend.

$400 a ton in 4 years? Oil's looking mighty good. [Hearth.com] ALL COUNTY IN WAPPINGERS HAS PELLETS YEAR ROUND

I know these guys have to eat too, but he mentions the price will go up if fuel prices rise. Prices still went up $25 / ton when diesel is half of what it was last year. Which one is it?

Most pellet users posting here about price projections aren't Nobel Laureates in Economics so take this stuff with a grain of salt.

It's not really a projection if you take last year's price list and compare it to this year's. I understand there is a price point where sales will drop, but for now, it seems that the sky is the limit with these price increases.

Ya know. As much as people are against big box stores. So far I cant say enough good things about tractor supply. The price is still holding at its October/November prices and as far as stock goes I think there one of the only ones who got it right this year. Always selling by the ton and bag at the same price. Maybe they where out briefly on two seperate occasions but reloaded quick. With some of super premium brands as well. Like I said I have no issue supporting the small buisness to a point. Extra 30,40 maybe but some of these prices are unreal. Im sticking with the tractor store

Diesel here is $3.05
Last March it was $3.97
Not exactly half.

The truckers' loan payments, insurance, repairs, taxes, tolls etc. did not go down..
They usually go up.
Fuel is not the only factor in shipping costs.
.

He specifically said fuel prices are what will cause the pellet prices to further rise. Fuel prices are down. His pellet prices still went up.
