Would anyone be able to tell me about the dampers on the all nighter They no longer spin tightly shut - but keep spinning - as we know that doesn’t crest the air tight needed … thank you

Spin dampers are usually simple affairs. Open the door and look at the backside of the door where the spin dampers are. Turn the damper and see if a bolt head is turning. If so, there may be a locking nut that has loosened. If so, this may be addressed by opening up the spin damper fully until it comes off, exposing the locking nut.

@coaly may have more insight here.

What he said. Open the door and look at the back and or post a pic of it. Those 2 air controls should be able to unscrew completely off of the stove.

Thank you - as that was EXACTLY- the case - upon one adjustable and on 9/16 🤷‍♀️😄 the baffler plate ( hope i said that correctly) adjusted itself while doing so ! THANK YOU !

Tighten up the locking nut as best as possible. That should end the problem for another 20 yrs or more.
