Anyone familiar with American Energy Systems wood stoves? If so any thoughts? I looked in the ratings section of this site and didn't find anything. Looking to replace my old Fisher and I know someone that can get me a stove at cost.

AES bought Country Flame recently, and those are the wood stoves you are talking about. They are a well regarded line - sort of a "mid america" steel line similar to Buck, Englander and others. They are probably trying to move some product that was in stock during the recent sale or transition, so I say go for it if the price is right.

Search for "Country Flame" the name on their wood stove line.
