We have an American Road Equipment Co firebox style fireplace. The model looks to be a IF40R and is a 36 in size. The house was built in 1989.

From my research, this company did a very limited run of a Heatilator style firebox, ours was serial number 338. They mostly did heavy equipment until it was dissolved.

I am struggling to find any resources, references or manuals for this. Seeing if anyone on here has knowledge of these. There’s an inlet with two openings that have blowers. No switched so I’m guessing some type of thermo sensors.

Any info/help on this is greatly appreciated!

Code should have required that the blowers have a switch for servicing. This is a safety issue.
