Creosote? Or is this normal for inside the pipe?

Not sure what this is we are looking at. Yes, that looks normal.
 
This is part of a 90 deg 6 inch chimney pipe. Is this bad? This was about a foot from the stove up into chimney
 
It's a mild layer of creosote. Nothing unusual there.

I assume the 90 is busted then, it shouldn't come apart like that.
 
Do yourself a favor and upgrade that pipe to 22 gauge pipe with welded or factory crimped seams. It will last a lifetime and it won't come apart in your hand.
 
Yea I'm debating what i am going to do. I need to do a ss liner up the chimney. Money is tight right now

Well, then just grab another 24 gauge 90, it'll work ok till you get that liner.
