I think #1 and #2 are Ash, #3 not sure, #4 perhaps soft Maple?

Regarding 3 & 4, I see some characteristics of red oak family but I also see some Aspen characteristics. It's difficult to tell because they've been seasoned a good bit.

If you decide to get more pictures, shoot some bark on the side and also cut a cookie or two off the end to reveal patterns and coloring.

My guess: 1) ? 2) ash 3) beech 4) red maple
