I left a deposit on a destination 2.7 insert. Pickup is 11/11. I do like the look of the stove but very nervous about Enerzone- basically because I didn’t know much about the company. I would like to hear any feedback.

Enerzone is a division of SBI, the same company that makes Osburn and Drolet. They are good stoves. webby3650 used to install them.

The enerzone line was built by SBI specifically for retailers that were part of a buyers group. SBI pulled out of the agreement, I assume they will still honor all warranties... ?
Its a solid product, no worries there.

Thanks for the replies. I was worried as just about every insert was prices more. It seems to be a clone of the Osburn are there any differences that make osburn a better choice? Also are the Lopi really worth the extra$$$$$ it was about a $12-1400 difference???

The Enerzone is a solid unit. I don't recall hearing any negative comments on this line.

I like Lopi! But I don’t think you will see much of a difference in performance.

I have a 2.5 Fireplace by Enerzone. It is a good reliable stove. The thing I don't like about it is the front grill design below the door. The ashes get hung up on it and then, when you turn on the fan, get sucked into the fans. This causes premature wear on the fans and the dust gets spread into the air. I ended up welding metal plate over the middle part of the front grill to prevent this from happening and it has improved the stove.

Yes, that is a common problem with flush inserts with no ashlip too.
