Hi, my original in my Volgelzang 5790 lasted from 2014 until early 2025 at which time I replaced it with a OEM It is now starting to make noise again after a few months. My stove runs from the Fall until Spring and heats my whole house. Should I buy another OEM from around $400 or an aftermarket one that are under $200. There are many options with mixed reviews most reviews say they are quiet but some say under powered. I suggestions?

Thanks

I serviced us stoves for 12 years before I retired most owners would purchase the aftermarket blowers rather then the OEM. I never found them to be under powered and in 12 years of service I never replaced any that I installed.

Do you have a certain brand you favor? The one I am looking at is made by Fasco, not the cheapest but better cheaper than oem.

Here is OEM and Aftermarket, they look a little different.
