I'm looking for some parts for a mcculloch d36. I think I can make some piston rings work. I'm looking for rod to crank bearing and also crank seals

Have you tried Jack's Small Engines?

I have a pile of McCulloch's,but can't help with numbers.
The last McCulloch i had apart i got the bearings and seals at a bearing place.
I just took the numbers that were on the bearings and seal and they crossed them to modern numbers.
The chainsaw sites would have more info

The bearing I'm having trouble find is the rod bearing that goes on the crank. It's a needle bearing and when the guy brought it to me he lost some of the needles.

If you take the needles to a bearing supplier they can mic the diameter of them and match them up.
You may have to cut them to the proper lenght. That has been done.
Or watch eBay and pay big money for the McCulloch ones either new or used.

Thanks. I didnt know you could do that.

Just pick a good bearing place.
If you don't have any luck i can get more info on them for you.
I have a couple apart at the moment.
