500+ logs? holy cow. I'd take it if I were closer, too. I don't care what anybody says about Pine, anything bad doesn't even matter when it's free. I've got 30 acres of timber, and i'd burn that pine first.
500 free logs? I'd be another taker if it was near me. That is many years' worth of free wood. All you'd have to do is find a few cords of oak for long burns at night, and you'd be set for a long time. Of course you'd still have to move it, buck it, split it, stack it...
