There is an estate auction coming up in a few weeks and on the auction bill is a Bodega Bay fireplace insert by Quadra. I looked on Quadra website and did not see it. So, I am wondering is anyone has one and how it works. I have a fireplace in my office/showroom (converted ranch style home built in 1960) that has never been used. So, if I can find a insert at a reasonable price I would install it to add to the decor and reduce my gas heating cost

If it fits and you get it at a low bid that could be a nice buy. Quad makes a good product. The manual is here: (broken link removed to http://hearthnhome.com/downloads/installManuals/435_1320.pdf) .
Make sure it will fit. Here are the dimensions:

Begreen,
Thanks much. I did look up the same diagram and it will fit. I was just inquiring to see some real world examples.
