anyone? or is there a better way to insulate?
 
The stuff is really not cheap anywhere. I'm just guessing, but if that is to be used around your block off plate, and you need to get it there pretty quick..... I would try FW Webb... they have it on hand, and if it's anywhere close to you - they have stores in N'ton and Spfld.... and a lot of other places, I think.... but in WMass... that would be the best shot.

Stuff is all over ebay. Search for "ceramic fiber blanket".
 
Don't know how their prices would be, but check some of the places that sell kilns and other stuff for pottery makers.
