My Englander 17-VL came with a free fan and I'd like to use it but don't want to have to reach behind the stove to turn it on all the time. Or remember to turn it on (or off). So I'd like to use a basic thermal switch that is N.O. (normally open) and closes at say, 200F (back/bottom stove temp). The exact temp can be different and I'll have to use my infrared thermo gun to check what temp I want it to turn on/off at. Anyway, anyone using something like this?
Something like this for instance: (broken link removed to http://www.ebay.com/itm/fireplace-blower-switch-temperature-switch-thermostat-/230589729535?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b0380aff)
Except I was planning on buying the switch from mouser.com and saving a few bucks.
