Anyone use a thermostatic controller on their woodstove/fireplace fans?

My Englander 17-VL came with a free fan and I'd like to use it but don't want to have to reach behind the stove to turn it on all the time. Or remember to turn it on (or off). So I'd like to use a basic thermal switch that is N.O. (normally open) and closes at say, 200F (back/bottom stove temp). The exact temp can be different and I'll have to use my infrared thermo gun to check what temp I want it to turn on/off at. Anyway, anyone using something like this?

The switch you linked to is called a snap-disc thermo switch or blower switch. That is what I used to control my blower setup I have. I bought an adjustable one so I can vary the temp that it comes on or goes off.

Where did you get an adjustable one? The one's I'm finding on mouser.com are non adjustable and similar to the one on eBay I posted. I did think of using an oven's thermostat controller but can't find one for cheap.

This may be a bit more elaborate than you want, but it works nicely.
I have a digital controller set up to turn on the fan at a preset temp.

My stove is set up to only run the blower when the temp goes over 650 °F
Running the blower like this seems to provide longer burn times.

I'm not sure of the type of switch I have. My electrician wired the thermo switch to a regular toggle (off-season switch) and the thermo goes on at 150 deg at the ceiling. This controls a ceiling in-line vent fan from the 1st floor to the 2nd.

I wouldn't want mine wired in to start the fan at 650 unless it was just to keep the stove from breaking itself. 600F is the max continuous temp listed for the stove with 650F being an overfire situation.
