Are there any inexpensive "Frameless" fireplaces (modern & wide)

I'd like to find something reasonably priced that resembles the ones below. (I DON'T want one with a decorative front surround). A Direct Vent Natural Gas model would be ideal. The only ones I find are $3,000+

Probably not gonna see any of the contemporary fireplaces come down in price any time soon. They've only been on the market for the last 5 years or so & haven't really taken off, at least around this area. Folks in these parts are more traditional in their tastes & the newer look hasn't done anything for them. You don't say where you're located, but the market for them seems to be the more Well-to-do, Artsy, big city types...
