I am wondering what happened here...The first part of my first burn season I was emptying the ash pan out every other day...now it is down to once a week. Now...is this a clue? Crappy unseasoned wood the first part of the season and well seasoned wood now. Does under-seasoned wood cause more ash than seasoned wood? Was burning a lot of wood that was close to 25% early on, now all wood is about 11%.
