Ashford blower issue

My ashford blower is acting up. When I turn It up, it kinda revs up then slows some. If i tap the knob, it will rev up.

Anyone had the issue? Hoping I can replace maybe the rheostat? (I think That's the right word) or do folks think it's a motor issue?

Need that blower tonight for sure!
