my masonry fireplace has a wood stove as insert with stainless steel flex liner going through damper (touching damper) which has thicker clay liner, block then brick, why is my outside wall in the attic warm to touch will it catch on fire is this normal, was having what looked to be condensation, steam coming from outside of house where brick and siding met, first fireplace and wood stove, mason guy said was condensation but why is wall warm, our house is a story and a half with 12 12 pitch roof and wall is warm in the attic at floor level but the outside wall where chimney is running up house, the wood stove heats the whole house great, furnace hasn't been on since started using wood stove, concerned, want to keep my house safe
