ATV Front rack for wood cutting/pics

ffjake & lukem gave me the idea to make a rack for the ATV set up for wood cutting.
40" X 34" , Almost as wide as the ATV.
Attached with conduit wall clamps & some bungees will also hole it in place.
Used some big washers & screwed on a milk crate.
Cut a 1/4 moon shape in a 2X4 for two 5 gallon buckets, not to slide.
made a bar clamp for the saw.
A few bungees & it holds more "stuff" to take in the woods.
I started laughing, I look like Quads headed to the woods LOL. But I have a cant-hook

Will also work as a work bench for saw sharpening etc.
Need a smaller/better gas can, I think metal, the plastic ones swell up & vapors escape.

Looks good, might add a velcro strap through the handle of the saw..

on a side note.. I came in here thinking "well, how much wood could he carry on the front rack.." lol

I'm considering making some rails that permanently attach to the front rack. I would dado out some grooves for the plywood bottom to slide into, kinda like a primitive drawer slide...and make it slide in from the side so stop and go doesn't come into play...I don't want it to be a PITA to remove...no tools required. I would have a latch or pin to keep if from sliding side to side. The plywood base will have a saw-sized box to hold the powerhead snugly in place, same for gas, same for oil...and one bungee that goes over the top of all of them to secure. I will probably permanently attach one shortened 5 gallon bucket (with drainage holes) or a crate to the plywood to hold odds and ends. I keep my tools and whatnot in my rear bag so I don't need much "storage".

I'm sure it'll change some as I use it. Modify it as I find what works for me.
I don't carry everything into the woods, saw, gas, oil, grapple, chain, cant hook & some tools.
I had a piece of 3/4 plywood that just needed trimmed to fit, so I made it big enough to have a place to gas up & sharpen the saw.
The metal ATV racks are nice to strap stuff to, but the plywood gives me a flat surface to hook stuff & modify as needed.
A few screws & it comes off.
