Hi...I have a Timberwolf TPS35 that suddenly stopped feeding pellets. Didn't find a jam in the auger screw. Took the motor off and connected power directly to it. I hear a hum, but the shaft doesn't seem to be turning. I assume it's time for a new motor?? Thanks.

You might be able to take apart the gearbox, if there is one, and clean and replace the grease in there. If there is no gearbox it sounds like it time for a new motor like Nailed-Nailer said.

1 rpm, counter clock-wise.

Well, you didn't mention how old the stove is but I get the impression that if it was newer you would have mentioned it shouldn't have gone out, so if the shaft is frozen under power, you have two options, try to grab it with vice grips and force it to turn and see if you can free it up to bide you some time to order your new one. If you find that to be a no go, Time to order a new one for $110 Scott.

Stove has been very reliable main source of heat for the last 4 seasons. I've put 8+ tons through it with zero issues...so, not surprising some parts are starting to get tired. Honestly, with the price of oil, this stove will be back-up heat source this year :). Found a new replacement auger motor online for $75 shipped.
