Hello
I have a quadra fire pellet stove and decided this morning to start it just to check before winter is coming.
Once started, I heard a faint noise from the auger as of it was trying to drop pellets but struggling.
Luckily there was hardly any pellets so I stuck my hand and tried to wiggle the auger in case it was stuck but nothing helped.
I left it like that to deal with it later- then tonight I vacuumed properly around the auger to make sure nothing is interfering but by then I couldn’t even hear any movement from the auger's motor.
I made sure the vacuum switch isn’t the problem and now I suspect the auger’s motor is the problem.
How can I test it? Doesn’t it have a fuse to protect it in case it’s straining? Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance
