Just so we are on the same page the convection motor/fan blows the hot air into the room and the combustion motor is located in the back left of the unit and circulates exhaust gasses out.I don’t know the exact name. I am looking for parts off of the convection motor instead of buying a new one.
Make a jumper harness(2 wires),you can cut the wires to the blower, and add connections,so you do not have to do it at the connection terminal board, there are many posts here describing how to do that. Then, wire it to the fan.Plug it in.The fan should/will run at full speed, let it run for a while,10 -30 minutes will not hurt it.If it preforms properly, then the problem is your control board,or you have wired something wrong,to the terminal panel. It is the convection blower which blows the hot air into the room.
I’m having a problem with it staying running.
Right now it runs for a few seconds then makes a humming noise while it stops. It keeps humming, just doesn’t move. But it spins freely when I spin it by hand.

yes/no/maybe.There is a comparable blower sold on one of the electric motor sites.Ebay?no,no crossover. If she wants her insurance to remain active, she needs you to install a valid part.I can provide a possible part number, for an aftermarket part, tomorrow, but, for insurance, you need a factory part.Okay. My landlord is being a pain about it. So, I told her it needs a new blower. I’ve looked online and cheapest name brand one I found was $267 I think. She says they are non name brand ones on eBay, universal I think, that she wants me to get. Has anyone heard of this or bought any of those?

No that is just wrong on so many levels. If it overheats and it will! It could burn the house down. If your landlord doesn’t want to address the issue for what ever reason id be looking to relocate. Or spend your own money and fix it right and have them take it off your rent.
