I saw a few threads about American Wood Fiber Pellets. But what I want to know is who here has burnt them and how were they ?? Are they soft or hardwood. Meijer in my area is selling them for 179 a ton. Are they a solid pellet?

I have burned the AWF pellets, and liked them...... they are a hardwood pellet. Check out Jay Takeman's test results....they are a good solid heat producer.

They've been good to me. Last year's purchase burnt as well as the Hamer's I had 3 yrs ago. Presently have 4 plus tons in the shed...
