Has any one burned these pellets and if so how is the heat output and ash content. Thanks.......

I have not burned them, but I was just at a stove shop about a week ago and they were telling me their customers love them. He said the heat was the best he has ever seen from any pellet and ash was minimal. His customers said they will never go back to anything else.

They were $300 a ton.

There are opinions on these pellets in the top thread by folks who have burnt them & compared them. Check it out

Don't like them. They burn nicely but don't slide down the hopper. Stove would shut off thinking it was out of pellets but the hopper was still 2/3 full. Don't like babysitting the stove so I won't buy them again.

Love them Hot, Hot and very minimal ash.

They burn way hot. Actually cleaned my burn pot if you can believe it. Black fluffy ash. Sucked it up with my vac. Did not even have to clean the glass after.

I like them a lot, low ash, no resin on the burn pot and they burn hot. Can't ask for much more. Just don't mistake them for the AWF hardwoods, people say those aren't as good fwiw. But I've burned the White pines and had great success with them in my P61. Can't speak for anyone else but to me they are very good.

Hated em.Lots of ash. They seemed to disintegrate quickly in the burn pot and then go flying all around the stove. They do smell nice though. ;lol

6 page reviews on top of page- under reviews. I loved them, some bags too many fines though. Great heat and very little ash, and were cheap at the time- box store prices..

Horrible pellet. Lots of ash and plugged my exchanger with a 1/4inch of wet black soot. Stopped burning them in fears of a chimney fire

Actually these are on the longer side. Like omalleys
oops...
I now think he meant Hamer hot ones we're like candy..
yeah.. some of the O'Malley's pellets can be Obscene.......
Not a Problem with my Harman although I do raise the feed rate a bit to compensate..

Thanks to all of you who gave me their opinion on these pellets. I'm a new pellet stove owner starting this year, so I"m still learning a lot. I was late in getting my stove installed this year so my choice of pellets was extremely limited that I could get. I ordered 3 tons Instant Heat hardwood pellets, bags of Barefoot, Allegheny and PresToLogs. Friends of mine burn Barefoot, but I thought they produced a lot of ash. Heat was good. Allegheny also produced a lot of ash. These Instant Heat are just terrible! The best ones I've burned were the PresToLogs which I got from my local Kmart. SO, tomorrow I'm getting a ton of AWF Ultra Premium White Pine Softwood Pellets to end the season with. I figure these cannot be any worse than what I've burned thru so far. Thanks again.........

I saw the AWF's at Menards today so I know they are crap.

Love the AWF WP - More importantly my stove is pleased with them.

Strangely enough they are an inexpensive pellet (relatively) compared to others in this area.

For me, these were the best burning big box store pellet I used this season. Excellent heat output. My only minor minor gripe: They tended to stick a bit on the slanted part of my hopper. I only saw them once and was fortunate to get a ton. Hindsight 20/20: I should have bought two tons.

tonight is the night. I got the 1 ton of pellets into the basement and just put the first bag into the Harman P43. It's 8 here right now going to a low of -7 tonight. Burn baby burn......
