I just installed a harmon pellet pro 2, first use after about an hour of burning the flame got small like it was going out, then stove filled with smoke and it had an explosion in the stove that shot smoke and ash accross the room,i started shut down procedures and it happened 3 or 4 more times over the next 10 to 15 minutes , any ideas on why this happened would be appreciated thanks

That's acting like its not getting exhausted properly or way to much fuel for the air. Bad exhaust fan or something drastically wrong with the venting?

Question
How did it throw ash and smoke across a room ?
Was the door open ? Did you open the door and it blow ?
Pellets burn in a controlled environment The explosion is
caused by the pellets getting hot enough to ignite in
a stove that is supplying not enough combustion air .
Is this a new or used stove ? If used did it have a full
cleaning before insulation ? Is the combustion fan working ?
How is the exhaust configured ? When we know the answer
to those Questions we should be able to help you
