Heres what the manual says
Yes, it is the same as you had before, but if they were nice, they would have provided the updated card.I actually called and talked to the parts guy and he claims it's the right one. Like an hour ago. The tech is calling me Monday.
Here's the info off the sheet. Here's the box.
Did it shut off or go down to ambers? It did it still have a flame?Good news I think. I went down and set my stove in room mode, igniter auto, then turned the temp dial down. The status light went out.
Do you remember the dipswiches? Review the chart again:
The two columns are for different ESP probes (colors of the wire) the other ones tell it there is no igniter.![]()
Harman Pellet Stove DIP Switch Settings Explained
If you own a Harman pellet stove, you may have heard about DIP switches. These tiny switches are located on your control board and act like the “settings menu” for your stove. They tell your stove how to ignite, how much fuel to feed, and even which temperature sensor (ESP probe) it should...www.northeastpelletstoves.com
You stove think's it has an igniter set to auto which is why it is shutting off.
However - the combustion blower should stay running until the stove cools.
I looked at my old one and didn't see any dip switches. I know that the part numbers are the same, but the new one has dip switchsYes, it is the same as you had before, but if they were nice, they would have provided the updated card.
re those dip switch settings, there are two control board versions listed, note yours for future reference, however the switch positions are the same
No not that - you don't have an igniterHere's the info off the sheet.

Here's the rest of the picture. It says Manual ignition P61. So I'm not sure what you mean.No not that - you don't have an igniter
There's a better pic showing the configuration for a manual start P61. That's the new board. It's the same as the ones you posted. Here's the info off the she
That would be for the Red wire ESP. Do you have red or black? I forget. Unless it was replaced it would be black. There's a better pic showing the configuration for a manual start P61. That's the new board. It's the same as the ones you posted.
That's right from the manual, if I'm reading it right it should stay running. You're saying the tech didn't configure it for a manual start?

If you look at the top of the chart they have different settings for each type. The default is probably for red type.

Your old old board 33-20-05378 did not have dip switches.
To determine the dip switch setting for whatever card they installed, you need the ESP type, and the card part number
and possibly rev number.
To carry on with the troubleshooting the installed card needs to be looked at.
It is acting like is is set wrong. When you turn the dial down, the status light should stay on

It has been mentioned that people over think Harman stoves, and people want simple answers to their problems, soIt does, it goes off when it hits the set point.
Oh Shoot ! I didn't see that switch in the picture you posted the other day. I know we talked about you not having the Igniter light and switch, but that switch looks the same as my Igniter switch (Auto/Manual). You are in the Auto Igniter position right now. Flick it down and you will ne in manual lighting mode. Then it should stay running. It would have helped if there was label. One other thing is that I have a manual/ auto switch I have to use on start up. I have to start it on manual, then switch to auto once it's running. I'm going to try turning it to manual on room mode and and see if it maintains heat.
Well when it hits the desired heat, the distribution fan turns right off. It slows the feed rate right down. I'm not sure if it should be running with no fan running. When I turned it up the distribution fan come and it started feeding. I'm not going to go any further until I know if it's okay to run with out the distribution fan running. But it seems to be working. One other thing is that I have a manual/ auto switch I have to use on start up. I have to start it on manual, then switch to auto once it's running. In room mode, with that switch "up" "auto" when you reach the desired temperature the stove will shut off and the status light go out.Well when it hits the desired heat, the distribution fan turns right off.
