Hi folks,

Just finished having a sweep install a new liner and the PE Pacific insert. As I was putting the firebricks in, I noticed what is likely insulation material on the top and sides of the baffle. Just wanted to make sure that this is non-combustible insulation (that is meant to stay in the stove), and not some type of packing material that is to be removed before use.

Thoughts??
