Is $259 per ton a good price? I haven't burned them at all. How do they compare to Vermont's?
Where do you get the Vermonts Michelle? It's a good price for my area. I like Vermonts better but I'm partial to the softies.
Barefoot is hardwood.
(expecting beavis and butthead comments..... lol)
Just an fyi this is the price per ton most likely but, if not transportation to the dealers can range anywhere from $40 to $70 per ton depending on how far they are from the mill. Also they are in the business to make money. It is their main product. Unlike big box stores who sells thier product at a loss to suck you in to buy something that they have a thier much larger markups on.According to their website they are selling truckloads to the dealers for like $228 a ton. Gives you an idea of the markup on them.
My dealer just started carrying them and gave me a few bags to try.
I like them a lot. Of course I don't have the experience many of you do with the different brands but I did find them to be a very clean burning and hot pellet compared to what the dealer was carrying.
I'll be getting 5 ton of them for next season.
Can you tell me where I can get the Barefoots at that price? Is $259 per ton a good price? I haven't burned them at all. How do they compare to Vermont's?
