Well I never realized Buck Stoves now has both a Cat: 91.... (broken link removed to http://www.buckstove.com/wood/model91.html) & Non Cat: 94NC stove/insert that boasts a 4.4 CF firebox.... (broken link removed to http://www.buckstove.com/wood/model94nc.html) Even larger than the Blaze King Box, my oh my. I think I remember this as one on my list, but no close dealer.
Wonder what the pricing is?

Also never knew Blaze King had a furnace with secondary...... (broken link removed to http://blazeking.com/Brochures-En/Furnaces/VC120wood-furnace.pdf)
and now one with a cat..... impressive.
The cat one has a 5.7 CF firebox,! Dayum!!!!! (broken link removed to http://blazeking.com/Brochures-En/Furnaces/76778) APEX1.pdf

Wonder what that puppy costs? Tempting
And only a 7" flue, hmmmm

If you search the Boiler Room, you will find a few threads on the Apex. 5.7 cu ft at 47K btus is one long burn with hardwood.

And I thought you were getting sick of Winter? Getting a new stove will cure that for sure. ;-)

Heck he has a brand new 30-NC sitting in the next room holding up a potted plant.

Its going in the addition which is not finished. Ran out of funds.
No piping, still need to insulate the ceiling etc. Not quite livable.
That area is closed off from the main part of the house for the time being.

That is exactly why I had a new stove in the crate for 3yrs. I have the chimney pipe and the roof flange is in place. Just haven't finished the install.

I think the Apex is around 3500. They look like a nice furnace, but not enough umph for our home. I found this furnace recently that I would love to have, but my wife says no since I got the one I wanted last year. This furnace is close to our current furnace but has a few more whistles.
