Am trying to do my homework concerning the best smoke detector location for a corner gas stove.

1st checked the forum using keywords "location gas stove smoke detector" got "No results found" even with no "..." so 2nd Googled and got > 2 million hits but either not relevant or for "kitchen gas stoves"

Hope someone else has checked this out and had better luck!

Thanks

Ken

Not sure where you're located, but we have to have one on EVERY floor & they must be located in hallways near the bedrooms...

Bob,

Was unclear, am interested in a dedicated smoke detector that would be close to the gas stove.

While this may be a problem with a kitchen gas stove because of "burnt food" hope there is not a problem these gas stoves.

Thanks

Ken
