im in the process of repairing the electric blower and thermostat on my Big Buck. Just wondering if I should go with a full 8" liner which is the size of the buck stack. Or if a 6" will be sufficient. (Chimney is Interior, 12x12 clay lined chimney approx 20-25' tall)

I will likely only be running this stove for a couple years and then transitioning to an EPA stove when we have the budget. I'm seeing most modern stoves use a 6" so wanting to be future proof if possible. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

It should be 8".
