Hi All,
I'm having problems with my Big E and any help is really appreciated. Last Spring my combustion blower was really starting to squeal and winter was about over so I turned it off and thought I would just have to replace the blower this fall. I turned it on a couple of weeks ago and it was dead and would blow a fuse everytime I plugged it up. After a couple of emails to Breckwells Technical services they determined it must be my control board. I ordered the control board and the combustion motor and installed both and thought great, it's working. The stove came on , the on light is green and pellet feed light blinks, the combustion motor is blowing but the auger motor is not working. So I checked for any jams and the auger is clear. After another email to breckwell they said I must have a bad auger motor. I installed it yesterday and still have the same problem. I put direct power to both motors and they work but not when hooked up to my stove so I really didn't need the new auger motor. . I have cleaned my stove and pipes. I have checked the vacuum hose and port for any clogs and they are clear. I tried bypassing the vacuum switch as I had read on here and the auger motor still doesn't work.

The stove is set on manual and is not plugged in a GFCI socket. I have it plugged in a surge protector.

I don't know how similar your stove is to mine in that regard, but I recently had a very similar issue and found out the auger motor won't turn if the combustion motor isn't working. Even though there's no mention of it, except in this forum, the combustion motor fan needs to be cleaned and the shaft lubricated a little or the fan sticks just enough to stop the whole works. I was able to turn the fan by hand, but there was a buildup that needed to be cleaned. Good luck.

Thank for your reply and help but I have a new combustion motor and it is running. I have replaced the combustion motor, augur motor and control board and my stove still doesn't work.

Finally my pellet stove works. Yay! After several more emails and phone calls to Breckwell technical support they decided they must have shipped a bad control board and sent a replacement . The new board and a new wiring harness arrived today and my stove works fine now.
