I am moving and want to take my BK parlor, it's only been used for 2 seasons.

What should I be looking for during my inspection of the stove? Just vacuumed it out and can take pics. Thanks!

You should be looking for friends to help move it! ;)

Honestly just take the opportunity to look it over from head to toe, clean it out top down including a light dusting off of the cat and cautious vacuming. Make sure the bypass lever is functioning smoothly and put some high temp lube on it. Other then that somebody else will have to chime in. Oh yeah make sure all the firebrick are in good shape too.

I'd inspect it after the move, not before.

If it's going to have a cracked weld or something, it's going to have it after it comes off the truck, not before it goes in.

Good time to clean behind the cat while you have the flue pipe off, though.
