The main attraction to Blaze King stoves is the loooong burn times. I don't know much about these stoves, but I assume that the burn time is all electronically controlled. Is that correct? If so, what happens to those burn times and burn quality during a power outage?

A BK Ashford is in the running for my next stove, so I'm just curious.

No electronics involved at all, just a bimetalic thermostat. These are fine stoves for outages.

Yep - no fear of loosing electric with the BK's (or 99% of other freestanding stoves), minus the use of a fan. And the dome light.:p

Ahhh, I heard thermostat and assumed it was an electronic unit. Thanks.
